The card reader uses a bar code to identify the card of the set and identifies it as Make Your Own Cards. Includes a high capacity student record and playback feature and the ability to teachers to create their own cards. Select a card and place it on the unit. Listen to prerecorded audio (words, phrases, and sentences) and then records his or her own voice saying the modeled audio. Compare recorded audio with the prerecorded audio. Response cab be recorded over and over until satisfied. Progress can be checked by listening to recorded audio at any time. 20 LED lights underline key letters, syllables and words in sync with the audio. Can store student-recorded audio for up to 4 users for each card (teacher and 3 students).
